Fight2Flight — Women’s Self-Defence & Empowerment

Practical self-defence training for real-world situations, taught in small groups across Auckland.

Fight2Flight is a women’s self-defence and empowerment course built around one goal: giving you the skills and confidence to protect yourself if you ever need to. No competition, no complicated moves to memorise for years — just practical techniques you can actually use, taught in a supportive small-group setting.

About the Course

Fight2Flight was founded by Scott Graham, a black belt in Japanese Jujitsu, to bring real self-defence skills to women in a way that’s approachable, physical, and genuinely useful — not performative or overly complex.

Sessions are run in small groups so everyone gets hands-on coaching and feels comfortable asking questions, practising techniques, and building confidence at their own pace. You’ll learn how to:

  • Recognise and avoid dangerous situations before they escalate
  • Use simple, effective techniques to create distance and get away
  • Defend against common grab, hold, and strike scenarios
  • Respond under pressure with a clear head, not panic

This isn’t about becoming a fighter. It’s about walking through the world with more confidence and having real tools if you ever need them.

Who It’s For

Fight2Flight is designed for women of any age or fitness level. No martial arts experience is needed — just a willingness to learn and get a little uncomfortable in a safe, supportive environment. Past participants have included students, professionals, mothers, and anyone wanting to feel safer and more capable in their daily life.
